I’ve lived in Japan off and on for quite some time, and I’ve always felt safe on my bike right here, especially when I usually see young and women that are old biking at all hours for the evening. But after a meeting a couple of weeks ago, personally i think just as if this false feeling of protection happens to be stripped away.

Cycling home at 8:30 p.m. on a street that is well-lit Tokyo, we sensed another biker by my side, therefore I slowed up to let him pass.
